Description:

The Physical Therapist Assistant helps patients accomplish treatment plans and participate in therapeutic activities by administering manual physical exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities, as well as applying assistive and supportive care. The PTA assesses and interprets evaluations and test results, determines physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians, and documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records in compliance with legal and professional requirements, including current and upcoming legislation. Your duties will include:

1. Follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients
2. Ensuring continued eligibility for home health services
3. Providing maintenance therapy
4. Driving to patient locations (must have a valid driver’s license)

Qualifications:
