Qualifications

• Must hold an active Texas PTA license.
• Experience working with orthopedic and neurological conditions is a plus.
• Ability to contribute to balance, gait, and mobility programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under supervision as part of an in-house therapy team.
• Develop and implement mobility and balance programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document progress in EMR/EHR and adjust plans accordingly.

AVIR AT GOLDTHWAITE, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We seek a PTA who is passionate about delivering the best care to our patients and residents and who wants to be part of a fun, high energy inter-disciplinary therapy team. We see a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions and offer you opportunities to develop programs in balance, mobility, gait, skilled maintenance and many more. In addition, we provide on-going training and career development opportunities.

Vital Therapy is a small but growing network of over 80 skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facilities with in-house therapy teams.
