Rivers Edge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Prospect, Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our supportive nursing and rehabilitation team. You will assist patients with therapeutic exercises, implement treatment plans, and educate families about home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant ( PTA ) certification in the state of Kentucky.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle physical aspects of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
• Implement treatment plans developed by our Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
