Job summary

MB Healthcare is hiring a PTA for Berkshire Post Acute Care at Wayne. The position supports the Therapy Team under a PT’s supervision, with responsibilities including motor function assessment, patient education, and progress documentation.

The PTA must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active State PTA license; long-term-care experience is preferred. Compensation is $40.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Therapy Team under the guidance of PT.
• Measure and record Residents' motor function, strength and muscle performance.
• Observe Residents and write progress reports.
• Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.
• Treat Residents with techniques like stretching and massage.
• Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.
• Educate Residents on how to exercise properly to improve mobility.
• Maintain Residents' confidentiality.
• Comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Contribute to the team goals.
