Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, adhering to professional standards and ethics.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid state PTA license or certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• Experience: 0-1 years

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor patient responses, document progress, and report to the supervising therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises and safety.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
