Job summary

Lenoir Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lenoir, North Carolina is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the LifeWorks Rehab Program. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services and tailored treatment plans.

Responsibilities include assisting PTs, conducting treatments, monitoring progress, educating patients and families, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, under supervision.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote successful rehab outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records following protocols and regulations.
