Vacaville Ranch Post-Acute in Vacaville, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitative care to residents. This role focuses on mobility, strength, and functional outcomes under supervision.

We welcome new graduates and experienced therapists. Full-time, part-time, PRN, and per diem options with competitive pay and a $4,000 hiring/retention bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• New graduates welcome; experience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred.
• Knowledge of PDPM and basic documentation standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Document therapy sessions and resident progress accurately and timely.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility, and functional activities.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary team.

This role focuses on supporting mobility, strength, and functional outcomes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Reporting: This position reports directly to the Physical Therapist and collaborates with the rehabilitation team and interdisciplinary staff.
