Summary

We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Responsibilities
  • Follow all state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Adhere to the treatment plan set by the Physical Therapist, perform only those procedures for which you are qualified, and recommend changes to the plan of care as needed.
  • Implement the treatment plan by instructing and assisting patients within your scope of practice and according to state laws.
  • Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT, nurse, or physician. Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate.
  • Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members about therapy within your scope of practice.
  • Visit patients across the service area and nearby LHC agencies as needed.
Education and Experience

License Requirements:

  • Current license, registration, or certification to assist in physical therapy practice in Texas.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
