Job summary

Oxford Valley Health's Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a PRN Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. We welcome candidates with at least 1 year of PTA experience who are dedicated to compassionate, personalized care in a senior-focused setting.

As part of our rehabilitation team, you will provide skilled PT services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist, participate in care planning, and help residents maintain independence

Qualifications

• 1 year of PTA experience required.
• Active state PTA license preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Relays service requests to the Registered Physical Therapist.
• Implements and adjusts the treatment plan under supervision.
• Measures and records residents' motor function, strength, and performance.
• Monitors patient responses and modifies treatment during sessions.
• Observation of residents and documentation of progress.

Responsibilities:

• Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.

• Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.

• Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision

• Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance

• Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.

• Observe residents and write progress reports.
