Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $25-30/hour

Clinic Location: SMASA Northeast - 12500 Judson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233

We serve primarily a sports and orthopedic population, including high school, university, and professional sports. Our providers work closely with physicians from Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio, overseeing medical care for college, high school, and professional sports such as San Antonio FC, St. Mary's University, Trinity University, Texas A&M University - San Antonio, SA City Soccer, and Boerne Soccer Club, among others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding outpatient care
• Assist in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine abilities and limitations
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy, including exercises, manual therapy, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic programs
• Observe treatments and report observations to the Physical Therapist
• Communicate effectively with staff and other health team members to plan, modify, and coordinate treatment programs

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure required
