Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Job Description:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports the Physical Therapist in implementing resident-specific treatment plans.

PTA Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct treatment to patients according to the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, and report any adverse reactions immediately.
2. Accurately document all pertinent information regarding the treatment program and the need for skilled services.
3. Maintain productivity levels and effective time management according to the daily schedule.
4. Participate in patient care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
5. Communicate patient responses and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
6. Contribute to program development and clinical practices, sharing best practices with the Rehab Team.
7. Assist patients in achieving outcomes and act as a trusted community partner.
