Job summary

AdviniaCare Providence in Providence, RI is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. You will assist in direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, and contribute to data collection and treatment planning for a general rehab caseload.

The role requires an accredited PTA degree, state licensure, and state CEUs; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEU's per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, supervised, and group treatment sessions.
• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field.
