Job summary

Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation to patients, focusing on restoring function and well-being.

You will work in a fast-paced team, assisting in treatment plans, conducting assessments, implementing exercises and modalities, and maintaining detailed records to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized patient treatment plans
• Conduct patient assessments and perform interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist
• Implement treatment programs, including exercises, modalities, and other prescribed interventions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans
• Participate in daily Treatment Team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan for continued care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of physical therapy techniques, best practices, and industry standards
