Job summary

LTC Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation, located in Whitinsville, MA. The PTA will work under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist to assist residents with therapeutic exercises and mobility programs in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

Location: Whitinsville, MA | Pay: $33–$36/hour | LTC Therapy: Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation

LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post‑acute care setting, supporting recovery, mobility, and functional independence.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and mobility programs
• Observe resident performance and communicate progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist
• Encourage resident participation and support achievement of individualized therapy goals
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to promote continuity of care
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
