Job summary

Synchrony Rehab at Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living in Massachusetts seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver therapeutic interventions under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. You will participate in interdisciplinary care and support patient progress with hands-on treatment plans and education.

The role requires PTA licensure, CPR certification (preferred), and 0-1 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
• Current valid CPR certification, preferred.
• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
