Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Muskegon, MI seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

The role requires PTA licensure or certification, and CPR certification is preferred. Education must be a PTA degree from an accredited program. This position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits as part of our team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
