Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In a state-of-the-art facility, you will support patients recovering from cardiac, orthopedic, renal, and pulmonary conditions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

As a PTA, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team, providing high-quality care to our patients in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions

• Conduct treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, including gait training, balance exercises, and transfer activities

• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist

• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and provide guidance on proper techniques

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive care
