Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, progress, and concerns.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports equipment issues to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and assists in securing adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
• Adheres to the company's policies, standards, and legal requirements.
• Participates in staff development and continuing education to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as per state regulations.
• Preferably, at least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
