Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a SNF setting. You will provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents regain mobility and achieve their highest functional potential.

Responsibilities include assisting in therapy plans, conducting sessions to improve strength and balance, monitoring progress, documenting sessions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• PTA licensure in good standing.
• 1 year of experience in therapy.
• SNF or geriatric care experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a SNF setting. Setting: SNF

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in executing individualized therapy plans for residents.
• Conduct therapy sessions aimed at improving strength, balance, and mobility.
• Monitor residents’ progress and provide feedback to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current PTA licensure.
• 1 year of experience.
• Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Covid-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine status required.

Contract Role

• 36 + hour guarantee
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract duration: 13+ weeks can be extended
