Autumn Lake at Patuxent River in Laurel, MD is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work alongside licensed clinicians to help residents improve mobility, restore function, and achieve independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

Qualified candidates must hold an active Maryland PTA license, have strong communication and teamwork skills, and be comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and mobility.
• Track resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility techniques, home exercises, and fall prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that meets facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Ultimate Therapy looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced clinicians to help residents improve mobility, restore function, and achieve their highest level of independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.
