Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Autumn Lake at Glen Burnie in Glen Burnie, MD. The role offers a full-time schedule with compensation ranging from $34 to $39 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents regain mobility and independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting, with opportunities for growth and CEU support.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates encouraged to apply; experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation preferred but not required.
• Ability to document accurately in accordance with facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence.
• Observe resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety recommendations.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and physicians to support quality resident outcomes.

Education
