Job summary

NuThera is seeking a Nevada-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its outpatient physical therapy team at the Rainbow clinic in Las Vegas. Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, you will support orthopedic, functional rehabilitation, and workers' compensation care.

The position offers weekday clinic hours with schedule discussed during interview. Requirements include active Nevada PTA license and completion of an accredited PTA program; prior outpatient experience

Qualifications

• Active Nevada PTA license required.
• Completion of an accredited PTA education program required.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Accurate clinical documentation and clear patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment interventions from the supervising physical therapist's plan of care and within the PTA scope of practice.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, stretching, gait and balance training, and the safe use of rehabilitation equipment.
• Observe patients before, during, and after treatment; document their response and report progress to the supervising physical therapist.
• Provide patient education and reinforce assigned home activities as directed by the physical therapist.
• Coordinate with physical therapists, medical providers, and support staff while completing timely, accurate treatment documentation.

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, the PTA will support orthopedic, functional rehabilitation, and workers' compensation care. Responsibilities

Required

Preferred

• Outpatient orthopedic or work-injury rehabilitation experience.
• Workers' Compensation or OWCP experience is helpful, but not required.
• Experience with gait and balance training, manual techniques, or post-surgical rehabilitation.
