Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Ohio. The PTA will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting.

You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and document responses to therapy. A PTA license and CPR certification are preferred, with 0-1 years of experience, and opportunities for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have PTA license or certification
• Current CPR certification, preferred
• Experience: 0-1 years

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and modalities
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress and report findings to supervising Physical Therapist
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy and progress
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions and home progression
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Other duties as assigned

• Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
