Job summary

Lanessa Extended Care is seeking a per diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a general rehab caseload under supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, data collection, and collaboration with the clinical team.

This PTA position offers weekly pay up to $40 per hour with benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• CEU's per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
