Responsibilities

Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation in Dallas, located on W. Camp Wisdom Rd. and Hwy 67, is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. We provide outpatient physical therapy services focusing on adult orthopedics and sports rehabilitation for our community.

Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assists with implementing the therapy plan of care. Responsible for delegating and directing supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care. Communicates regularly with the supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to identify needs for assessment, reassessment, and treatment plan modifications. Participates in educating patients, families, coworkers, and students. Performs other professional duties related to patient care within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
