Pay Range: $42,000 - $86,000 + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Job Description

The PTA will assist a Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to support pediatric patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, and social/emotional disabilities or delays, through therapy services in the home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care by performing evaluations, interpreting assessment results, and developing goals suitable for each child; collaborates with physicians to create and implement therapy plans.
• Helps pediatric patients develop or regain physical, neurological, cognitive, and social/emotional functions, maximizing their independence through skilled interventions.
• Educates, coaches, and empowers caregivers and families to incorporate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
• Coordinates with referral partners, including Early Intervention Colorado, to deliver services as per physician orders and IFSP.
• Ensures ongoing therapeutic support post-discharge by designing and instructing home exercise programs.
• Documents patient care and coordination efforts in an electronic medical record system.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

• Texas State PTA License
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
