HealthPro Heritage is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, NH. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available. Compensation ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, depending on experience, with a 5-star facility and a strong rehab team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress and educate patients and families on protocols.
• Document patient treatments accurately per facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.

• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
