Zusammenfassung

St. Bernards Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assist Physical Therapists in delivering physical therapy treatments and procedures.

The role may involve developing treatment plans, performing routine tasks, documenting progress, and adjusting treatments under supervision of a licensed PT. The PTA will work under supervision in accordance with state laws and Board rules, ensuring compliance with the Board and maintaining patient care standards.

Qualifikationen

• Must have satisfied education requirements from an accredited program and be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Arkansas by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy (the Board). CPR certified.
• Sound clinical skills and demonstrated good judgment. Working knowledge of physical, mental and social needs of the frail elderly population. Ability to problem-solve and plan effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.

  • Education

    • Requires physical strength to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to work required schedule. Hearing within normal range. Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, and carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
