Job summary

Upstream Rehabilitation’s Results Physiotherapy with Ascension - Saint Thomas in Nashville, TN, is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient orthopedics. You’ll provide hands-on, evidence-based PTA care under a licensed PT, with a clear path to growth and the option to float across clinics.

We offer competitive PRN pay ($30.00-$34.00/hr), a 401k with match, CEU discounts, Medbridge access, EAP support, and a chance to transition to full- or part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active or pending Tennessee PTA license (or eligible)

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN (as needed) coverage at a single location, or float across multiple clinic locations in Nashville.
• Deliver hands-on, evidence-based care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, and function through individualized treatment plans.
• Track patient progress and collaborate closely with your clinical team.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and your local community.
• Continue your professional growth through Upstream’s mentorship and learning programs.

Education

What You’ll Do as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant

PRN Schedule

• 1-19 hours per week
• Weekdays, weekends, mornings, and evenings available
