Position Details

We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for our Clarksville facility, a 122-bed short-term and long-term care hospital. Join our in-house rehab team under outstanding leadership.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide physical therapy treatments as per plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
  2. Assist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatments.
  3. Observe, record, and report patient responses and conditions.
  4. Maintain treatment records and progress notes.
  5. Consult with family, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
  6. Support occupational therapy department and equipment care.
  7. Participate in in-service programs and meetings.
  8. Stay current with continuing education relevant to your discipline.
  9. Comply with regulatory and professional standards.
  10. Participate in team conferences regarding patient progress.
  11. Adhere to policies, participate in quality improvement and safety programs.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
  13. Understand reimbursement processes and allocate therapy resources efficiently.
  14. Know OBRA regulations, HIPAA, and third-party reimbursement guidelines.
  15. Support the company's mission and professional image.
  16. Work independently and assist others as needed.
  17. Maintain productivity levels appropriate for the facility.
Qualifications
