Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for PRN coverage. You will support the Physical Therapist in delivering safe and effective therapy sessions and help maintain a positive, respectful environment.

The role requires an active Florida PTA license and at least 1 year of nursing home or rehab experience. On-site, PRN shifts with a focus on patient safety, infection control, and proper equipment management.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering safe, effective therapy sessions.
• Follow departmental policies and dress code to maintain a respectful environment.
• Ensure resident safety by following infection control and safety protocols.
• Keep the therapy area clean, organized, and stocked with equipment.
• Report hazardous conditions or faulty equipment promptly.
• Use PPE as needed when handling bodily fluids.
• Notify supervisor of missing or unclear SDS labels.

Pay Rate:$35 - $40 per hour
Shift:PRN

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Physical Therapist in delivering safe and effective therapy sessions.
• Adhere to departmental policies, including a professional dress code, to maintain a positive and respectful environment.
• Ensure resident safety by following strict safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Keep the therapy area clean, organized, and stocked with essential equipment.
• Promptly report any hazardous conditions or faulty equipment for timely resolution.
• Utilize personal protective equipment as needed for safety when handling bodily fluids.
• Immediately notify your supervisor of any missing or unclear labels or safety data sheets (SDSs).

Requirements:
