Job summary

Theracare in Indiana is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated therapy team in a Skilled Nursing Facility, providing skilled direct patient care under supervision.

We welcome new graduates; Indiana state license or eligibility is required; excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important; PRN hours available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current or eligible for Indiana state license.
• Active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience; new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with therapy team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with nursing staff.

Qualifications

The Physical Therapist Assistant would perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program

Current or eligible for state license

Prefer active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (not required)

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience
