Select Medical's Physiotherapy Associates in Douglasville, GA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient orthopedic care on a PRN basis. The role requires a PTA graduate, CAPTE exam passage, and an active state PTA license (or in process). CPR certification is required.

You’ll work under a PT, delivering quality care and fostering strong patient and center relationships. The schedule is PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri), with compensation of $32–$38 per hour.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national PTA exam.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement high quality PTA services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with PTA practices and Select Medical policies.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers and patients and expand center staff relations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
