Job summary

Select Medical in Covington, GA is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic team. This licensed PTA with outpatient experience will join a flexible schedule that pairs coverage needs with your availability to create a workable, patient‑focused plan.

Compensation is $36-$40 per hour, based on experience. You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT, deliver high‑quality care, and help patients return to athletics, work, and daily life.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PTA with outpatient experience.
• Must have passed the CAPTE exam.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by the State Practice Act.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand client relations.
• Follow Select Medical policies and procedures in daily practice.

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation:$36 - $40 /hour rate is based on years' of experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
