Your contribution

Implement treatment established by the supervising physical therapist and support individualized mobility and functional goals. Provide planned therapeutic exercise, gait and balance activities and other interventions within your authorized scope. Observe each person’s response, document progress and communicate relevant changes to the supervising physical therapist. Explain techniques clearly and help patients and caregivers participate safely.

Collaborate with the rehabilitation and care team so treatment goals connect with each person’s daily activities. Document interventions, observations and progress accurately and promptly, communicate relevant changes, and follow professional standards, safety practices and applicable requirements. The aim is thoughtful, coordinated care that respects each person’s abilities, priorities and dignity.

Schedule and employment

• Permanent, on-site direct-hire opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
• Weekly hours, workdays, weekend requirements and start date will be confirmed during hiring.

What you bring

• New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant licensure or eligibility, with required licensure completed before practice.
• Appropriate accredited education and clinical qualifications for physical therapist assistant practice.
• Sound clinical reasoning, clear communication and a patient-centered approach.
• The ability to implement and document care under a physical therapist’s supervision and to complete applicable client screening and credential requirements.
