Position Summary

The role of the Physical Therapist Assistant reports to the Physical Medicine Manager. This position is responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of licensed therapy staff.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapist with patient care, as directed
  • Assist with maintaining records and patient schedules
  • Maintain department equipment including moving, disinfecting, and partnering with leadership regarding repair needs
  • Partner with department leadership regarding maintenance of department supplies

Qualifications

  • Education:High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Licensure and Certifications: PTA license and CPR, required.
  • Experience:Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferred.

Work Environment: This position will spend up to 80% of the time standing and/or walking whole pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
