Job summary

Lehigh Acres Health and Rehab is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate team in Lehigh Acres, FL. This PRN position supports licensed therapists in implementing care plans to improve mobility and independence for our residents.

As a PTA, you will administer therapeutic exercises, monitor patient progress, educate families, and help maintain the highest standards of patient care in a welcoming facility that values staff development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida PTA license
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Passionate about improving patient outcomes
• Experience in rehab or skilled nursing is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise, safety, and proper body mechanics.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and maintain high standards of patient care

Position Overview: As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Lehigh Acres Health and Rehab, you will play a key role in assisting licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence.
