Job summary

Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a hospital-style setting. You will assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans, conducting exercises and modalities, and educating patients and families on therapy techniques and self-care strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the implementation of treatment plans and patient care
• Conduct exercises, modalities, and other forms of therapy as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals
• Provide patient care in a manner that is compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered
