Position Summary

Performs rehabilitative patient treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist, providing objective data on patient progress. Assists management with clinical and operational issues, aiming to improve processes and service utilization.

Responsibilities
  1. Consult with medical and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
  2. Implement physical therapy interventions as per the care plan, providing feedback to the supervising therapist.
  3. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
  4. Utilize support staff effectively.
  5. Communicate with patients and families to provide education tailored to their needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an APTA-accredited program.
  • Current licensure in New Jersey.
  • CPR certification.
