Job summary

Confluent Health is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Santa Monica, CA. The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus, 401(k) with a 4% match, and ongoing education through Evidence in Motion.

You will work in a dynamic outpatient facility focusing on pelvic, sports, and ortho PT, with mentorship and career development opportunities. Licensed PTAs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice.
• Experience or new licensure accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation of client's daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program.
• Observe patients during treatments and report observations to Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with staff and other health team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
