HealthPartners is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for our TRIA Neck and Back Strengthening Program in Woodbury, MN. This role emphasizes evidence-based patient care and progressive strength training, supported by a training program aimed at developing clinical skills and improving the lives of patients with pain. The position includes providing a range of physical therapy techniques and requires licensure and CPR Certification.

Position Summary:
The TRIA Neck and Back Strengthening Program provides evidenced-based care to patients with spinal conditions by delivering individualized treatment that includes (but is not limited to) progressive strengthening with MedX equipment, pain neuroscience education, and home exercise program training. Our Program’s emphasis on progressive strengthening using specialized MedX equipment differentiates the TRIA Neck and Back Strengthening Program from numerous other spine care facilities.
We encourage our PTAs to: 1) provide contemporary evidence-based treatment, 2) promote progressive strength training with our patients, and 3) utilize the appropriate clinical tools at their disposal (i.e. strength training, functional-movement training, graded exposure and motor imagery, Mackenzie method, patient education, etc).
We are seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our team of spine care specialists. We provide an house training program and ongoing mentoring of this evidence based program, to support your skills and success in providing care and improving the lives of our patients with chronic neck and back pain. You can be a key part of a highly engaged Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant team.
Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
