Job summary

Select Physical Therapy, part of Select Medical, seeks a licensed PTA to join our outpatient orthopedic center in Charlottesville, VA. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule (MWF 8:00-4:30; Tu/Th 10:30-7) and compensation at $28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a $12K bonus and a student loan repayment program.

You will work under a licensed PT to deliver high-quality care, support travel to Waynesboro or Staunton clinics if needed, and participate in mentorship,

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE national PTA exam.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PT services for patients, caregivers, facilities per policies.
• Maintain positive interaction with centers, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
