Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Locust Grove, VA, is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant. This role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services under the guidance of licensed therapists and building strong patient relations.

Ideal candidates are college graduates of an accredited PTA program, have CPR certification, and are licensed or in the process of becoming licensed. The position offers a competitive salary between $28.00 - $34.00 per hour and additional benefits including a $12K bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed the national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
