Job summary

Kentucky Orthopedic Rehab Team seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for its KORT Mt. Washington outpatient center. The PTA will work under a licensed PT, delivering outpatient orthopedic care and guiding patients toward functional goals.

Position includes mentorship, growth opportunities, and a sign-on incentive; full-time schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends. Location is Mt. Washington, KY, with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process) and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state practice acts.
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services to patients and families per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.

Location: 190 Shadowmeade Lane Mt Washington Ky 40047

Schedule: Monday-Friday (no weekends)

Compensation: starting at $23.50/hour and up commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

• Outpatient clinical rotation if a current student

• Outpatient experience in the last 5 years if a licensed clinician

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

• CPR certification
