Select Medical's KORT Columbia location in KY is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient orthopedic care. The role supports patients of all ages, with mentorship and a path for professional growth, floating across the Louisville market.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, with starting compensation of $23.50–$26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Sign-on bonuses and debt relief options may be available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience in the last 5 years if practicing clinician.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction/supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients and facilities in accordance with PT principles and Select Medical policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand client relations with centers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Outpatient orthopedic experience in the last 5 years if a practicing clinician
• Outpatient clinical rotation if a current student
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
