Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement treatment plans under licensed PT supervision and to support patient recovery toward maximum function. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to service improvements across the department.

Responsibilities include applying established therapies, adhering to organizational goals, and participating in a schedule that includes some weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure from State of Maryland, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification.

• Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes
• Prompts improvement of service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care
• Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization

Education:

Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.

Licensure from State of Maryland, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners..

Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification.

Shift: Full-time 40 hours per week - 8:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Some weekends and Holidays

Work Experience:

Successful completion of clinical internships as required by academic program.

Salary Range:

Minimum $26.58/hour - Maximum $43.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
