Johns Hopkins Medicine in Maryland seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support a 40-hour work week (8:00–4:30, some weekends/holidays) under supervision of the Rehab Therapy Services team. The role implements treatment plans designed by a licensed PT to help patients regain maximum function.

You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care, promote service improvements, and uphold the organization's goals within a welcoming, equity-focused hospital

• Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Position Summary:

• Works under the supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Inpatient or Outpatient Manager
• Implements a treatment program as established by a licensed PT which is designed to return patients to their maximum level of function
• Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes
• Prompts improvement of service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care
• Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization

Education:

Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.

Licensure from State of Maryland, Board of Physical Therapy Examiners..

Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification.

Shift: Full-time 40 hours per week - 8:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Some weekends and Holidays

Work Experience:

Successful completion of clinical internships as required by academic program.

Salary Range:

Minimum $26.58/hour - Maximum $43.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
