Women & Infants in Warwick, Rhode Island, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to aid in implementing treatment programs under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. This role involves training patients in exercises, conducting treatments, and monitoring their progress.
The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program and hold valid RI licensure, along with at least one year of experience in the field.
The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the direction of a Physical Therapist, assists the Therapist in implementing treatment programs according to a plan of care, i.e. training patients in exercises, conducting treatments using special equipment, administrating modalities and other treatment procedures, as well as reporting the patient’s response to the Physical Therapist.
