Job summary

AccentCare in Brenham, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time, on-site role covering Brenham and surrounding areas. You will implement care plans, communicate findings to the Physical Therapist and physician, and educate patients and families on home safety and medical equipment use.

A valid license and CPR certification are required, and travel to all business locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Valid license/registration/permit to practice in state of agency operation.
• CPR certification must be valid while employed.

Responsibilities

• Implement care plans and report changes to the Physical Therapist and physician.

• Be able to implement care plans and communicate any findings or changes in regards to patients back to the Physical Therapist and physician
• Ability to educate patients and their families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Have a valid license, registration, or permit to practice in state of agency operation
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations
