Job summary

St Luke Portage Lakes is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant PTA to join our care team. Working under a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver rehabilitative services and support patient progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Ohio

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other conditions
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Education

Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program
